UK Visa rejected

Today is the worst day for me. My UK Student visa got rejected due to inadequate financial support for carrying out studies in UK.
I am surprised, as I have more than surplous funds to support my self in UK. Plus I have the educational loan as well.
But, the timing seems to be bad. In the refusal note, the Visa officer has calculated the available funds with wrong exchange rate, and besides havent considered my term deposits.
I am very upset , as its not my fault. and i have not given any chance to have an interview with the visa officer. I have submitted all the required documents along with the appeal and hope the results come out soon.
I always told tejas that getting an admit from the university is just a beginning. The real struggle starts from then on .. until you actually complete the course.
Now, I am seeing it coming true.
